    Controls Apprentice
    ColonialWebb is seeking a talented and energetic Apprentice to join our Building Automation team in Richmond.

    Under the guidance of Senior Building Automation Technicians, you will learn how to service, repair, and install complex commercial BAS control systems.

    A day in the life:

    • Learn to install, troubleshoot and repair building automation and control systems for large, complex, heating and cooling systems and associated mechanical equipment
    • Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, and make necessary repairs to controls equipment and associated components
    • Work on large control systems building automation systems, electrical controls, and related commercial HVAC equipment

    You should have:

    • Current or previous work experience as a Helper or Apprentice servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting building automation systems, electrical controls, or HVAC equipment
    • Completion of (or currently completing) an HVAC or electrical educational program (preferred, but not required)
    • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
    • Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter
