    Job Summary
    Responsible for wound care assessments and treatments. Provides wound care according nursing guidelines and established procedures. Implements the plan of care as directed.

    Is knowledgeable regarding the delivery, storage and handling of topical medications used in the treatment of wounds, according to established procedure.


    Job Requirements

    Minimum Education Requirement:
    For Respiratory Care Therapist, graduate of accredited Respiratory Care program. For Licensed Vocational Nurse, California State Licensure. For Registered Nurse, graduate of an approved RN program and California State Licensure required.


    Minimum Experience Requirement:
    One year in clinical wound care experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills required.


    Minimum License Requirement:


    For Respiratory Care Therapist - current RCP license; For LVN - current CA LVN license: for RN - current CA License.

    BCLS required.


    For HBO technicians:
    completion of 40 hour introductory course on Hyperbaric Medicine required.
