Job Summary
This role involves providing specialized nursing care in an Interventional Radiology Lab that serves both acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations. Care is delivered within a cardiovascular lab setting, with a team of physicians, registered clinical nurses, and radiology technologists working collaboratively.Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with angiograms of multiple systems and peripheral revascularization
- Manage placement and maintenance of hemodialysis catheters, nephrostomy drainage tubes, gastrostomy and jejunostomy tubes
- Provide central line placement and vascular access care, including port placement and integrity
- Support pain management interventions and perform paracentesis/thoracentesis procedures
