    Position Title: Parts Administrator

    Reports To: Branch Manager

    Rogers Machinery is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual with a background in parts management, to join our Ceres/Modesto team. As a Parts Administrator, you will be responsible for ordering parts from vendors, tracking parts for arrival, distribution, returns, and accurately keeping track of inventory. Other duties may include administrative tasks such as, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and assisting other branches in the parts department.

    Essential Job Duties:
    • Create Purchase Orders for materials in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
    • Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
    • Review and establish safety stock, min/max limits, and reorder points for components.
    • Work closely with the service department to manage and revisions and component substitutions.
    • In office position/attendance is an essential function of this position
    Additional Job Duties:
    • Develop and manage supplier relationships to assure vigorous service levels.
    • Manage and mitigate risks to prevent shortages.
    • Inventory for branch(s)
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Extended periods of desk work and computer use on a daily basis.
    • Frequent operation of a forklift for loading and unloading trucks.
    • Regular lifting and transportation of items weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
    • Periodic driving to various branch locations for the purpose of inventory assessments and reorganization.
