- Work closely with the Executive leadership team and engineering teams to deliver a scaling Direct-to-Consumer platform - Ecommerce and Subscription driven
- Work on complex, high traffic, large scale consumer driven applications
- Design and develop applications for new consumer workflows, payment gateways, checkout systems, and 3rd party APIs
- Work in a Full stack development capacity utilizing NestJS, Node for backend and React for front end
- Maintain and expand upon knowledge of multiple languages, frameworks, tools, devices, applications, and their capabilities
- Grow into a role where you can mentor a team of Software Engineers
- Work closely with various teams to deliver a live product to consumers
- Design and build complex applications with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and high reliability
- Work with Product Owners to drive product vision, from inception to architecture planning, release, and production
- Participate in Standup meetings and agile best practices
- 7+ years of full stack development experience
- 5+ years of React front end development
- Backend development expertise with Node, Python, Java or Golang
- Familiarity with NestJS is a big plus
- Experience with APIs and RESTful Web Services
- Skilled with AWS Cloud Services
- Experience with large scale, concurrent applications
- Familiar with MySQL and/or NoSQL Databases
- Prior legacy experience with PHP, WordPress and/or WooCommerce is a nice to have
- Previous experience working for an eCommerce or subscription-based business is very important
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and exhibits strong Computer Science Fundamentals
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math or similar
