    Structural/Miscellaneous Steel Estimator


    Aristeo is currently in search of a skilled professional to oversee hard bids and negotiated proposals for our manufacturing, power, and energy ventures.

    We are seeking an experienced individual with a solid track record in producing competitive bids and budgets, possessing a thorough understanding of the latest industry standards and practices.

    The perfect candidate for us is a team player who excels in a fast-paced work environment.


    Position Responsibilities:
    • Review project specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work
    • Prepare detailed estimates and necessary documentation for review
    • Solicit project-specific proposals from material suppliers and evaluate for completeness and competitiveness
    • Develop options and recommend best value solutions based on cost, engineering, quality, or material availability
    • Maintain positive relationships and ethical practices with stakeholders
    • Assist operations with awarded contracts and projects as needed
    • Collaborate with Proposal Coordinator to develop comprehensive proposals
    • Support business development with complete conceptual proposals
    • Assist in maintaining the estimating productivity database

    • Ability to prepare proposals with minimal supervision
    • Strong understanding of conceptual estimating, estimating techniques, and cost control
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
    • Must be able to multitask and prioritize effectively

    A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred. PE designation is a plus.

    Minimum of 7 years of estimating experience is required.
