- Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English
- General knowledge and skills that demonstrates good mechanical background
- Ability to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8 hour shift
- Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
- High School Diploma/GED
- Maintenance knowledge - sufficient formal or informal training to perform the duties of this position
- Any combination of general maintenance, building maintenance, equipment maintenance, automotive maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical, and military experience is acceptable
- Experience with formalized safety programs preferred, such as Lock Out/Tag Out, OSHA Awareness, Technical School Courses or Ladder Safety
- Receive Ordered Supplies:
- Receive incoming shipments of supplies from vendors or delivery services.
- Inspect deliveries to ensure items aren't damaged upon arrival.
- Assist in verifying received quantities of ordered supplies, via purchase orders and packing slips.
- Effectively communicate discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Put Away Supplies:
- Ensure supplies are properly stored in designated rack/bin locations.
- Ensure that supplies are handled and managed carefully to prevent damage or loss supplies.
- Follow established procedures for organizing and storing supplies efficiently.
- Organize Supply Storage:
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in supply areas.
- Regularly inspect storage racks and bins for damage or disorganization.
- Restock appropriate supplies as needed.

Job DescriptionLT apparel is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Apprentice will also assist with Procurement tasks which would consist no more than a 50/50 split each shift. You will receive on-the-job training to: learn how to repair, maintain, perform preventive/predictive maintenance, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, systems and components, including Motors, gear boxes, sensors, conveyor systems and other facility maintenance items; learn proper operation of warehouse systems and the upkeep of the entire facility; associate will adhere to LT's health and safety policies and procedures while learning to perform all duties. This is a training position to allow the individual to compete for advancement upon completion of the program.
