UPMC St.Margaret Hospital is a 4 Time Magnet ANCC Designated Hospital, we are a 250-bed teaching hospital situated on a 21-acre campus near Aspinwall, PA.
We are looking to hire a Full-Time Medical/Surgical - Stepdown Resource Pool Professional Staff Nurse.
This position will complete orientation and rotate primarily on the following units: 4A, 3B, 5A, 5B, 6B, ICU, ED and nursing support services.
Support Services:
This includes any role that may support the Nursing need at UPMC St. Margaret including but not limited to Team nursing assignment. Resource Pool Nurses will be utilized to open flex and surge areas at times of high census.

Shift/Hours:
Our RNs work a rotating 12-hour schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage on the floor.

Qualifications:
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
UPMC approved national certification preferred. Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
ACLS required within 1 year transfer/hire into department.
Registered Nurse (RN)
Act 33 with renewal
Act 34 with renewal
Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
