    Fresh Baguette is a fast-growing, artisanal bakery known for its high-quality standards and modern atmosphere. The company was founded in Bethesda, MD in 2013 inspired by bakeries in France. We have five retail locations and a thriving wholesale business. We are passionate about quality and take great pride in everything we do.     We are growing and constantly looking for passionate people to join our team. We are seeking a talented and dynamic Part-Time Baristas for its Rockville bakery cafe (804 Hungerford Dr, Rockville, MD

    Shifts:

    • Our shifts typically start as early as 6AM and end as late as 7:30PM, 7 days per week.
    • Morning shifts: 6AM-1PM
    • Mid shifts: 11:30AM-4:30PM/5PM, 8AM-4PM
    • Afternoon shifts: 1PM-7:30PM
    • 5-8 hour shift
    • 4/5 Days a week
    • Monday-Thursday with availability on Weekends


    As a Barista you will be:

    • Living by Fresh Baguette's core values: Integrity, Respect, Reliable, Team player, Committed, and Customer Oriented
    • Providing friendly and prompt customer service
    • An expert of Fresh Baguette menu offerings
    • Follow recipes according to standard
    • Cash and credit handling at the cash register in a fun and efficient manner
    • Serving baked goods, breads, and pastries
    • Making and serving coffee, sandwiches, salads with care
    • Maintaining store safety, sanitation and proper food storage
    • Addressing and answering customer complaints
    • Paying close attention to the way products are displayed throughout the day and to the cleanliness of the store
    • Cleaning and prepping the store for the next day
    • Closing register

    Requirements

    • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
    • Open availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends & mornings/afternoons
    • Availability to work on Holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.
    • Strong Communication skills
    • Reliable transportation to work--living within walking distance and/or not dependent on public transportation
    • Ability to stand for 8 hours
    • Commute of less than 25 minutes
    • Experience working as a barista is a plus

    Benefits

    • Compensation: Competitive pay - 20.00$ / hour to 21.00$ / hour including tip
