The Director Quality - USA is responsible for ensuring companysafety policies and the Site Specific Plan are proactivelycommunicated and consistently enforced on all projects.

Ensures company safety policies and the Site Specific Planare proactively communicated and consistently enforced on allprojects
Establishes quality and reliability standards by studyingproduct and consumer requirements with other members ofmanagement and with production operators, technicians, andengineers
Establishes raw material standards by studyingmanufacturing and engineering requirements; conferring andnegotiating with suppliers; devising testing methods andprocedures
Establishes standards for the disposition of finishedproduct by devising evaluation tests, methods, and procedures
Establishes rework standards by devising inspection andphysical testing methods and procedures
Establishes a product quality documentation system bywriting and updating quality assurance procedures
Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurancepolicies, procedures, and government requirements;collaborating with other members of management to develop newproduct and engineering designs and manufacturing and trainingmethods
Prepares product and processes quality reports bycollecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Maintains quality assurance staff by recruiting, selecting,orienting, and training employees
Maintains quality assurance staff job results by coaching,counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring,and appraising job results
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attendingeducational workshops; reviewing professional publications;establishing personal networks; participating in professionalsocieties
Achieves financial objectives by preparing the qualityassurance budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances;initiating corrective actions

10+ years of experience
Prior experience in the Construction or Engineeringindustry preferred
Strong self-starter and self-directed characteristics
Ability to properly identify, assess and resolve problemsand/or issues
Exhibits a high sense of personal motivation and urgency
History of developing and sharing best practices
Experienced in developing and maintaining closerelationships
Absolute commitment to ethical business standards
Ability to demonstrate collaborative working relationshipswith peers and foster the same with direct reports
