    Position Summary

    The Human Resources Total Rewards Specialist focuses on general total rewards administration in the Total Rewards Center of Excellence supporting all functions and business units within Plug Power.

    The position would recommend, implement, administer, and maintain Compensation, Benefits and Equity plans.

    It would also contribute to the development and administration of Company policies and procedures for compensation and benefit plans to ensure equity for all employees, compliance with federal and state legal requirements and Company objectives and profitability.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    Assists with the day to day administration and communication of Plug's health and welfare programs, 401(k) plans and other Total Rewards processes.

    Manages and coordinates communication, wellness program activities, and other Total Reward events.
    Provide support to the annual compensation review, bonus and sales compensation processes globally for Plug Power.
    Analyzes benefit costs, provides insight into expense trends and works with internal and external parties.

    Provide compensation recommendations for new hires and salary adjustment recommendations for existing employees to address retention and pay equity concerns.

    Formulate recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures.
    Participate in third party or custom salary surveys to identify and track the relevant labor market.
    Works closely with Total Rewards vendors to implement enhancements, test changes, ensure compliance and reconcile issues.
    Prepares analysis on various total rewards programs and provides recommendations for program changes as needed.
    Contribute to the development, design and maintenance of the job description and evaluation process. Ensure accurate job documentation, salary market competitiveness and internal equity for Company positions
    Develop and conduct presentations for leaders in matters related to compensation and benefits projects
    Participate in internal audits and assist with pulling documentation and information from the Workday HRIS system
    Assists with benefits onboarding as needed
    Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions
    Perform all other duties as assigned
    Education and Experience
    Bachelors degree in human resources, business or other relevant field
    Certified Compensation Professional certification preferable (CCP)
    A minimum of four (2) years working experience in human resources; preferred to have 1 years working within a Total Rewards function
    Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
    Strong project management and process improvement abilities
    Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
    Superior communication abilities; can seamlessly engage with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
    Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levels
    Uncompromising dedication to quality
    Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
    Role model for the highest standards of professionalism and business ethics

    Pay Rate:
    $58, $87,400.
