Job DescriptionJob Position Description:

The responsibilities of this daytime management position include developing cleaning plans, training, and assisting team members in their daily responsibilities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all team members stay on task and completes all assignments to ServiceMaster standards. This position will also include assisting with flooring, and disinfection services. To be successful in this role, you will be trained to have a good grasp of the basics of cleaning and healthy team management. A company van will be provided to use and bonuses and incentives are available.

Responsibilities

• Hiring and training cleaners on ServiceMasters standards, products, processes, and procedures.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a positive attitude and set an example for the overall team climate including being in uniform, being on time, and being dependable.
• Oversees cleaning performance and ensures all assignments are completed in accordance with a set task schedule
• Train cleaners on task schedules specific to individual accounts
• Perform inspections and give constructive performance feedback to team members
• Assign shifts and make the necessary adjustment in case of call-outs or no shows
• Respond to customer complaints and requests in a timely and caring manner
• Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations
• Must have experience in carpet cleaning, strip and wax and other floor work
• Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
• 2 years experience in cleaning or housekeeping
• Weekend work as needed
• Must be able to communicate in English. Being bilingual is a plus
• A company vehicle will be provided
• Must have a Valid Drivers' license with a safe record and insurance
• A background check will be completed

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• More than 1 year of supervisor or management position in janitorial or housekeeping. We will also consider comparable experiences.
• Must have experience in carpet cleaning, strip and wax, and other flooring project work.
• Ability to manage multiple employees, and locations and fill in when necessary
• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, and reaching forward. Must be able to lift and/or carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
