    Description
    Bargaining Unit: EA

    Rate of Pay: $25.78/hour + DOE

    Summary
    Directs work of staff and contractor crews during off hours. Ensures all cleaning tasks are completed and the facilities are ready for the next days uses. Trains staff and conducts staff competencies. Acts as a resource for nursing leadership to coordinate EVS resources. Completes cleaning/disinfection duties as required.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Coordinates and directs staff and contractors to ensure all off hour duties are complete to standards.
    • Implements preventative measure to ensure District's needs are met.
    • Provides training and competency checks of staff.
    • Acts a resource for after hour staff.
    • Acts as a resource for nursing leadership to ensure all needs are met.
    • Coordinates with Day time leadership.
    • Orders supplies as needed.
    • Stocks clean linen.
    • Transports dirty linen to holding area.
    • Cleans lobbies, lounges, offices, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, kitchen and other areas.
    • Operates washer and dryer.
    • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, drapes and cubical curtains.
    • Inspects facilities for repairs and maintenance.
    • Dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, and polishes metalwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
    • Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
    • Transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
    • Replenishes supplies.
    • Cleans light fixtures and replaces light bulbs.
    • May be required to travel to offsite facilities.
    • Demonstrates System Values in performance and behavior.
    • Complies with System policies and procedures.
    • Other duties as may be assigned.

    Minimum Education/Experience
    No educational requirement and 3 or more years relevant experience
