    Loan Processor Opportunity at Cooper Company

    The Loan Processor role at our company in Dallas, TX, is crucial as they are the main contact for our customers throughout the mortgage fulfillment process. Their responsibility is to ensure top-notch customer care for all Cooper Customers, setting proper expectations, managing customer communications, and resolving concerns related to mortgage applications. This is a hybrid position located in Dallas, TX.

    Responsibilities:

    • Act as a customer advocate and main contact for assigned customers to provide exceptional service.
    • Complete work within established workflow processes and policies.
    • Document all communication with customers accurately.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of all workflow processes and policies.
    • Make required outbound calls for loans in process.
    • Achieve and exceed Performance Goals and Key Metrics.
    • Ensure prompt responses to customer emails and calls.
    • Take full ownership of assigned pipeline and proactively manage customer escalations.
    • Conduct weekly pipeline reviews to ensure progress and identify and resolve issues promptly.
    • Provide loan status updates to the sales force and management.
    • Offer feedback on improving workflows and processes.
    • Learn and improve from feedback to complete tasks efficiently.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required, Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred.
    • 1+ years of loan processing experience preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Familiarity with government and/or agency loan programs and guidelines beneficial.
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with originations systems and Microsoft Office products.
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule with potential for overtime and weekend rotations.
