Paramedic essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Facility operates 24/7 to provide pre-hospital stabilization and life-saving care on 30,000+ responses each year. They work alongside their medical directors, physicians, and nurses in their four Emergency Departments. They respond to all 911 medical and trauma emergencies, inter-facility transports, event standbys, collaborate with their Centers for Excellence on STEMI and stroke care, and partner with their public safety agencies to provide a wide range of EMS response capabilities in Moore, Norman, and surrounding areas. EMSSTAT has specialized teams such as SWAT Medics, a very active bike team, and their regional disaster medical response team (DMRT) which houses a large response trailer.
