    This is a full time position that requires energy and enthusiasm.


    Summary:

    Responsible to greet patients, make sure necessary forms/information including insurance, is accurate in practice management software on file, monitors patient schedules, and patient appointments by performing the following duties:Essential Tasks include the following but are not limited to:Greets patients and ensures patient information is input and updated in digital/physical charts in practice management software, and alert team of patient arrival, maintaining and managing patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations.

    Answers multi-line telephones in a courteous and timely manner, retrieve and distribute messages, make sure service is on when office is not open, determining the needs of each caller.

    Respond to requests for information from patients, other practices, insurance carriers, etc.

    Schedule/dispatch lab work appropriately including calling lab for pick up, alerting team of arrival, and documenting through practice management software simultaneously.

    Confirms appointments according to the company policy and follows up with patients regarding missed appointments via telephone.
    Collect and receive over-the-counter payments at time of service.

    Non-Essential Tasks include the following but are not limited to:
    Sort and distribute supplies and mail received to appropriate departments

    Education/Experience:
    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
