As the Maintenance Reliability Manager, you will be directly responsible for implementing and developing predictive and preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment and process reliability.
You will maintain equipment in like-new condition through a world-class preventative maintenance program and develop key metrics to drive continuous improvement in both staff and equipment performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct employees in the repair of electrical and mechanical systems, following electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Schedule and assign employees to daily tasks of maintaining production equipment via work orders, ensuring timely completion.
Coordinate maintenance technicians' schedules and maintain a database for equipment calibrations.
Provide leadership and support to guide employees in testing malfunctioning machinery using test equipment and collaborate with maintenance workers to diagnose malfunctions accurately.
Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve operational efficiency.Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Assess existing equipment and process deficiencies, collaborating with operation team members to modify equipment and processes to achieve objectives.
Manage spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment inventories, initiating reordering when necessary.
Negotiate and develop relationships with vendors to ensure optimal pricing.
Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
Ensure maintenance associates are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to perform tasks safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
Manage the maintenance of a computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and maintenance history of production equipment.
Track, analyze, and improve key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, and schedule compliance.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Previous technical supervisory experience demonstrating the ability to manage
Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls
Five years of electrical experience with manufacturing equipment
Five years of mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment
Digital controls troubleshooting experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in reading specs and prints
Proficiency in using computer applications such as Word and Excel
