Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Neurologist Physician to join our team in Washington and provide exceptional care to our young patients during a 6-month assignment.

Requirements:

• Board-certified in Pediatric Neurology and Pediatric Nephrology
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
  • Provide comprehensive neurological and nephrological care to children
  • Conduct outpatient clinic appointments, diagnose, and treat a variety of pediatric neurological conditions
  • Round on patients in the hospital, ensuring continuity of care
• On-call duties:
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, including night call on clinic days and 24-hour call on non-clinic days

Schedule:

• Three 8-hour shifts per week
• Flexible scheduling within standard clinic hours
• On-call responsibilities include night call on clinic days and 24/7 call on non-clinic days

Practice Setting & Procedures:

• Patient volume of approximately 10 patients per day
• Inpatient rounding averages 2-3 patients per week
• The primary focus is on pediatric neurology cases, with the opportunity to manage additional nephrology cases
