    Summary:

    The successful candidate must have experience in project management, site engineering, business development, team building, and project profitability for retail, industrial, institutional, commercial, and multifamily projects.

    The ideal candidate will have past project management experience, including scoping, fee estimating, and resource scheduling.


    General Responsibilities:


    Manage client relationships and develop future work from existing clients as well as add future clients from network creationManage financial and technical deliverables of projects including collection and distribution system rehabilitation and/or replacement and/or upgrades and extensions, design of storage tanks and equalization basins, pumping stations and booster pumps, force mains or treatment facilities, and headworks as well as general civil projects including site development and grading, stormwater, hydrology studies, and erosion control designMaintain project budgets, and schedules and successfully achieve project milestonesPrepare written reports such as Preliminary Engineering Reports or Facility Plans and render recommendations regarding cost-effective solutions and produce specifications for inclusion in bid documentsFoster collaboration and communication across project team disciplines to ensure project goals and deliverables are met on time and within budgetReview designs, specifications, and project documents for accuracy and completenessPrepare proposal or oversee proposal development for specific tasks, may get assistance from others in preparing portions of the proposal.

    Develop scope of work consistent with project objectivesReview contract, during negotiations, to determine if proposed contract commitments can be achieved within the proposed scope and budget.

    Communicate with the client if the proposed scope and budget are not adequate for contract commitmentsMay supervise/mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Staff Professionals.

    Be available for offering guidance and direction on project management issuesRequired Education/Licenses:
    Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field of studyRegistered as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia or another state (Or must become licensed in Georgia within 6 months)

    Required Experience:

    Project management experience for public works clients in Georgia10+ years experience in Civil/Public Works Engineering with 5+ years as a licensed Professional EngineerStrong communication skills & demonstrated technical aptitudeExperience working with Georgia municipalities preferredEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
