- Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on primary cooling/heating systems.
- Install, repair, and upkeep mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, fans, and compressors.
- Handle various HVAC components such as furnaces, boilers, heat exchangers, and radiant heaters, ensuring proper functioning.
- Maintain electrical controls related to refrigeration and cooling equipment.
- Manage refrigerant recovery and associated documentation.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in Residential and Commercial HVAC maintenance and installation.
- Potential requirement for specific HVAC Certification(s) as determined by the work site.
- Proficiency in using various computer software applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting refrigerant system pressures.
- Understanding of the hazards associated with working on/around HVAC equipment, including troubleshooting HVAC refrigerant, electrical (480/208 3 phase and 120 volt), and gas systems.
- Proficiency in brazing/soldering refrigerant line-set and coils for installation and repair purposes.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot electrical/electronic controls associated with HVAC systems.
