Admissions RN - $7500 Sign on Bonus
Mon.-Fri. 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm
No weekends/No holidays
The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rome is actively seeking an Admissions Nurse for our 160-bed Skilled Nursing Facility
New York State Registered Nursing Licensing Required

Excellent Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits Package providedDuties Include:

• Initiate admission assessments on new Residents / hospital returns & initiates initial care plan.
• Assist with the development & direction of the Nursing Department as directed by the DON.
• Assess PRI's & coordinate all components of the admission process with the interdisciplinary team.
• Responsible for auditing records to ascertain compliance with facility standards.
• Perform required charting according to policy / procedure.
• Complete MDS, care plans and other documents as assigned.
• Maintain the confidentially of all Resident information as per HIPAA and Corporate guidelines.
• May be assigned to supervise, direct and/or provide Resident care as necessary.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have an active / unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse License
• Should have excellent clinical assessment skills
• Ability to make great independent decisions
• Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
