    Senior Director, Medical Affairs

    As a Senior Director of Medical Affairs, you will play a key role in supporting the medical and scientific objectives of our company. Your primary responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to provide high-level scientific and clinical support for marketed products and pipeline development.

    You will serve as a bridge between internal teams and the external medical community, ensuring the ethical exchange of medical and scientific information. This requires a deep understanding of the complex regulatory environment and a commitment to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

    Some of your key duties will include:
    • Developing and maintaining long-term, credible relationships with key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and healthcare professionals to support clinical research and gather insights into therapeutic trends and unmet needs.
    • Providing fair, balanced, and evidence-based scientific information to healthcare professionals in response to unsolicited requests, consistent with compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Supporting the development and delivery of scientific content at medical conferences, advisory boards, symposia, and training sessions for internal staff and external stakeholders.
    • Collecting, analyzing, and communicating medical insights from the field to inform company strategy, including clinical development, medical education, and commercial planning.


    To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong educational background in a life sciences or healthcare-related discipline, such as an MSN, MS, PharmD, PhD, or MD. You should also have relevant experience in medical affairs or clinical/scientific roles within the biopharma industry, with a strong understanding of clinical trial design, pharmacology, and regulatory frameworks. Additionally, you must be able to manage projects and build professional relationships in a matrixed environment, with a willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50-75% of the time).

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in medical affairs, with a strong network of connections in the industry. They will be highly organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of medical science.
