Expanding the Mission and Advancing the Gospel

Decision Point is currently active in 17 areas, collaborating with churches and mobilizing students for campus outreach. Our goal is to expand to 25 areas by 2027, and through our online coaching program, extend our impact even further. We have witnessed that investing in local schools today can lead to long-lasting ministry opportunities in the future.

Recently, we initiated our new four-year initiative, 'I Have Decided.'

Over the next four years, we aim to see:

• 10,000 students declaring, 'I have decided to witness for Christ.'
• 1,000 churches committing to mobilize students for Christ's cause.
• 10,000 individuals pledging to pray for and financially support our ministry.

By God's grace, we anticipate:

• 25 strategic cities served by our campus ministry.
• 1,000 campuses impacted by our Student Leaders.
• Over 2.5 million students exposed to the gospel.

We pray for continued expansion of our mission, reaching students far and wide with the message of hope.

About Our Next Campus Ministry Field Staff

As part of the team, Campus Ministry Field Staff play a pivotal role in fostering a movement of faith that touches lives in high schools and middle schools across a region. This job encompasses various responsibilities, including:

• Evangelist: All team members, particularly those in leadership, are actively involved in sharing the message of Christ. Campus Ministry Field Staff are not only responsible for personal evangelism but also for instilling this value throughout the team and mentoring others to do the same.
• Recruiter: Being a volunteer-centric organization, we are always seeking individuals keen to contribute to our mission. We believe everyone we encounter has a role to play, and we actively facilitate these connections.
• Leadership Coach: Our focus is on leadership development. Equipping students, volunteers, and team leaders is essential, as everything we achieve is through people. Your role will involve influencing, teaching, and inspiring others to realize their God-given potential.
• Networker: Chapters are tasked with reaching schools across a geographical area. Building relationships and partnerships with local churches and believers is crucial in collectively impacting students in our ministry areas.
• Shepherd: Guiding a team may present interpersonal challenges at times. We seek Campus Ministry Field Staff equipped to offer guidance and instruction with grace, truth, and the empowerment of the Spirit.
• Team Manager: Reporting to the Chapter Director or Area Director, you will oversee part-time employees and volunteers, ensuring they receive necessary training, adhere to ministry standards, and operate effectively.

Position Details

Hours: Full-time, salaried position

Locations: Currently seeking Campus Ministry staff in the following locations to commence in summer 2024:

• Chicago, Illinois
• Colorado Springs, Colorado
• San Francisco, California
• Dallas, Texas
• Los Angeles, California

Key Responsibilities

Campus Ministry Staff are predominantly in the field during the week. From September to May, you will spend 50-75% of your time in the field, either at your chapter site, visiting high schools for coaching, or engaging with pastors and community leaders.

Key Relationships

Interacting closely with the Chapter Director, City Director, and other Campus Ministry Staff is integral to this role.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior ministry experience in a church or para-church setting is preferred.
• Travel: Comfort with frequent air travel is necessary, involving both local and national trips.
• Education: While a Bachelor's degree is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.

Fundraising and Salary Information

The salary range for this role is $40,000 - $75,000, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.

As part of our non-profit ministry, all staff members participate in fundraising efforts for financial and prayer support. This crucial aspect underscores our collaborative approach to sustaining and expanding our mission.

Similar to missionaries preparing for global assignments, your initial task upon joining Decision Point staff will involve engaging with churches, acquaintances, and relatives to build a support network for the ministry.
