• Monday - Friday
• 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Weekend & Holiday Rotation
• Mileage Reimbursement
• Up to $2,500 sign-on bonus

The Alton Intermittent Home Care Department at BJC Home Care Services caters to patients in Alton, Illinois, and surrounding areas, with round-the-clock home care nursing support. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, they blend technology with the benefits of receiving care at home.

Role Purpose

Delivers direct patient care to home care patients as per physician orders, focusing on assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and physical therapy instruction/supervision in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support patients in physical activities and use of assistive devices
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
• Collaborate with physicians to enhance patient care
• Evaluate and recommend adjustments for prosthetic and orthotic devices

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree - Physical Therapy (PT)

Experience

• No Experience Required

Supervisor Experience

• No Prior Experience Needed

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Physical Therapist License
