    Basic Job Functions:


    The NBT Infrastructure Dept Manager will be part of the NBT Infrastructure Team and will be the leader for all the data center, network, and shared services teammates within NBT.

    This distributed team is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the technology infrastructure backbone of our large enterprise and automating processes assisting with building efficiencies and securing Nucors environment.

    Overall responsibility for high-level cloud, data center, and network systems in planning, design, and optimizing availability with an understanding of the implications Enterprise wide.

    Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for IT Infrastructure aligning with business goals, budgets, and growth plans.
    Evaluate, research, and recommend new products of emerging technologies for application to the enterprise. Advises, counsels, and educates NBT leadership on relative importance and potential monetary impact.
    Lead and mentor a large team of IT professionals while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

    Minimum Qualifications:


    Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.10 or more years of current experience in coordinating all aspects of multi-division networking, including monitoring and maintenance demands.10 or more years of current experience in data center requirements, redundancy, and disaster recovery planning.5 or more years of current experience in Cloud computing, identity, and endpoint management.

    Experience in managing large, remotely dispersed teams. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate geographically distributed staff is essential.
    Ability to travel and work on an as needed basis, including nights and weekends.
    Ability to identify, establish and improve department standards, policies, and procedures.

    Must have a manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Strong technical acumen in data center operations, networking, and shared services.
    Excellent leadership, communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills.
    Experience establishing and implementing effective automated processes and handling proper change control management.
    Experience developing a team in delivering results and providing excellent service.
