- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Lead a multidisciplinary project team, offering direction, support, and guidance throughout all project phases.
- Establish clear communication channels and reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed on project progress, issues, and milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, forecast costs, and implement cost control measures as required.
- Monitor project schedule and resource utilization, identifying and addressing potential delays, conflicts, or bottlenecks.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality requirements.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and presentations to encourage collaboration, resolve conflicts, and drive decision-making.
- Manage change requests, deviations, and variations from the project scope, evaluating impacts on schedule, budget, and quality.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports, presentations, and documentation to clients, management, and stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement among project team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in offshore engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of offshore decommissioning processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, meeting or surpassing objectives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Willingness to travel offshore and work in challenging environmental conditions as necessary.

Looking for an exciting opportunity in the oil and gas industry? Join Wood, a global engineering and construction firm committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. Currently, we are gearing up for a new offshore brownfield asset retirement project in Covington, LA, and we need an experienced Project Manager to steer the project to success.
As the Project Manager, your role will be crucial in managing all aspects of the offshore brownfield asset retirement project in Covington, LA. You will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, monitoring, and control to ensure safe, timely, and within-budget project completion.
To excel in this role, you will need to efficiently manage the flow of work to remote offices in addition to overseeing engineering deliverables such as construction work packs, engineering studies, regulatory & environmental reviews, and asset management plans.
