- Conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures, including complex cases, with proper technique and clear instructions to patients.
- Evaluate patients for contrast history and potential contra-indications.
- Comply with departmental protocols, quality assurance standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate and prioritize procedures throughout the day to ensure optimal patient care and workflow.
- Be open to rotating within different departments for adequate coverage.
- Assist in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures under the guidance of Radiologists or other medical professionals.
- Maintain exam rooms' cleanliness, organization, and compliance with infection control measures.
- Ensure accurate coding and entry of all procedures for billing purposes.
- Adjust patient assessment and care approaches to meet individual needs based on various factors.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and respect while fulfilling job duties.
- Demonstrate commitment to the company's core values.
- Perform any other duties as delegated.
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology school or equivalent program.
- Preferably 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or primary care setting.
- Active registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (new graduates may require a temporary permit).
- Valid state licensure and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
