Job Description:
Looking for a LSSP for the school year.
You will be required to conduct formal psychological evaluations of various target student populations for special education eligibility, planning, placement and services.
You will also be expected to provide a continuum of mental and behavioral health services, including individual and group counseling, behavioral coaching, positive behavioral supports, and parent/teacher education.
Qualifications:
Graduate degree
Valid license issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologist as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology
Special Knowledge/Skills:
This person must have knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local laws, guidelines and procedures, including special education.
This job requires you to have knowledge of child development, human behavior, learning theory, family systems theory, crisis intervention theory/skills and consultation, and skills in communicating effectively with others.
