Data Engineer, Data Engineering PepsiCo, Inc. Plano, TX Actively contribute to code dvlpmnt in projects & services. Position reqs a Bach deg (U.S.

or foreign equiv) in Comp Sci or Comp Engg & 5 + yrs of exp in the job offered or rel role, OR Masters (US or Foreign Equiv) in Comp Sci or Comp Engg & 3 + yrs of exp in the job offered or rel role.

Must have 5 (OR

3 w/ Masters deg) yrs of exp w/: Hands-on software dvlpmnt, cloud data engg, & systems architecture; Data Lake

Infrastructure, Data Warehousing, & Data Analytics tools; Exp

using distributed computing engine such as Spark for data

extraction, transformation & load of large volume data sets; Hands on coding exp in Python & Pyspark; Exp integrating multi cloud svces w.

on-premises techs; Hands on exp planning & executing data migration projects from on-prem to cloud,

end- to -end; version control systems like Github & deployment & Continuous integration tools; & Working know of agile dvlpmnt, incl DevOps & Data Ops concepts.

Must have 2 yrs of exp w/:

Data modeling, data warehousing, & building high-volume ETL/ELT pipelines End to End; data profiling & data quality tools; at least 1 MPP database tech such as Redshift, Synapse, BigQuery or SnowFlake; Cloud Orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory ,mng complex dependencies & strict SLAs.

Must have 1 yr exp w/: creating reusable utilities; Hands on exp w/ Data Visualization tools such as Power BI or Looker; building solutions in the retail or in the supply chain space; & working

w/ ML libraries & awareness of ML concepts


Telecommuting permitted 30%:
work may be performed w/in normal commuting distance from the PepsiCo, Inc., office in Plano, TX.
