    Description

    The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for managing and directing the project team by providing the communication, coordination and follow-up necessary to deliver a project on time and budget.

    They are responsible for all scheduling and financials of the project.
    Client Details
    Growing General Contractor with a great reputation in South Florida. They focus on Commercial and Luxury Residential projects typically ranging from $1M to $10M
    Description
    Prepare and manage project schedule and identify risks
    Assist with preconstruction and estimating throughout project
    Implement and maintain budget and schedule controls.

    The Project Manager will report significant issues in a timely manner to the Project Executive and will prepare Monthly Progress Reports in accordance with contract documents.

    Participate in reviewing and evaluating documentation related to the planning, site investigation, design, construction, and contract administration.
    Identifies and secures necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget and/or schedule.
    Responsible for all pay applications and, change orders, etc.
    Attend project-related meetings, capture minutes, and record issues.
    Profile
    ~ Successful track record as a Project Manager with Commercial construction ground up and renovation
    ~5+ years of Project Management experience taking projects from start to finish
    ~ Experience delivering Ground Up Commercial Projects (REQUIRED)
    ~ Florida project experience (Preferred)
    ~ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or similar
    ~ Analytical skills, with the ability to read, interpret and develop statistical reports
    ~ Must be able to read and interpret building and site plans and specifications.
    ~ Must be able to prepare project schedules.
    ~ Strong experience with project financials / accounting for construction projects
