    A Day in the Life

    Drive growth:

    Be the trusted advisor for the Cardiac Rhythm Management US Sales leadership team to grow Market Share and achieve key business financial objectives (Targeted Revenue, EBIT, and Inventory) while effectively managing risks and opportunities


    Develop and maintain a mastery of the business, to support key operational and strategic decisions by leveraging industry insights and by generating scenario analysis


    Partner with the Sales Operations and US Marketing teams to provide insight on region and district opportunity account pipelines, implant forecasts, strategy implementation (among other meaningful metrics) to drive additional opportunities to optimize results


    Lead regional annual operating plan process (Rosters, Alignments, Quotas, Expense budgeting)

    Collaborate with other groups and functions:

    With the RVP and HR on sales force alignment, performance and compensation strategies


    Liaise with the Rebates, Contracting, Pricing, Sales Ops, & Total Rewards organizations

    Financial Management and Reporting:

    Lead and prepare monthly business reviews of P&L results with variance analysis, as well as the updated Forecast, with its risks & opportunities


    Provide actionable guidance to sales management, to stay aligned with financial goals, while also maintaining the longer-term strategic goals


    Partner with Sales to continually improve Revenue forecasting accuracy and what key metrics best drive and support those predictions

    Special projects:

    Prepare financial analysis to support critical special investment initiatives and other Ad-hoc as assigned

    Must Have:
    Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting required or Advanced Degree with 8+ years

    Nice to Have:

    Positive attitude, with a high degree of initiative and accountability
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, in a high-paced environment


    MBA/CPA/CMA


    Knowledge of standard GAAP requirements


    Medtronic business unit finance experience/business acumen


    Prior Medical Sales support experience


    Excellent written/oral communication, presentation and influencing skills


    Experience with MDT financial/reporting systems (SAP, Hyperion, CMR, SPEND, BOXI) and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
