Job summary
We are seeking a Web and Printed Content Specialist to join our Team in Alexandria , VA.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit articles white papers fact sheets blogs press releases web pages and other publications on science topics of stakeholder interest including those addressing significant or potentially controversial topics.
- Translate complex scientific and technical concepts into plain language for non-expert audiences Draftand edit web content summarizing policies and guidance for proposersand awardees Conduct researchand fact-checking collaborating with OLPA staff program officialsand scientists to ensure accuracyand clarityof all written products Ensureall products complywith the Plain Writing Act of 2010and Section508 accessibility standards .
