Control Systems Technician - United States

+ To support Manufacturing and facilities. Perform PMs and calibrations. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and computer based controls and instrumentation on a variety of facilities and production equipment.
+ Job duties: repairing building automation control systems, HVAC controls networks production equipment computer-based controls electronic instrumentation programmable logic controllers providing technical support to equipment facility related validations maintaining standards for safety productivity costs area cleanliness ensuring systems are operating at validated standards implementing calibration activities for facilities packaging production instrumentation identifying implementing engineering process improvements.
+ Qualifications: high school diploma general education degree minimum 3 years working experience in an electrical control or instrumentation field in a production environment strong electrical mechanical automation robotic motor control skills experience working with various PLCs PC based operator interfaces VFDs Servo controls familiar with Visual Basic Wonderware Servo PLC based programming modules basic knowledge of computer networking systems ability to read understand blueprints ladder logic AutoCAD good oral written communication skills good interpersonal skills establishing maintaining good working relationships internal external customers timely feedback management customers regarding work procedures schedules project management skills individually implement or support others implement facility changes utilise education knowledge experience practically solve problems respond prioritise resolve simultaneous requests maintenance support under direction Supervisor completing work assignments satisfying requesting department identify necessary tools equipment procedures spare parts required perform routine work requests.
