    Job Description:

    The Ropes Course Attendant is responsible for guest registration, supplying equipment, education, and adherence to proper safety protocol.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:\

    • Communicate with guests to process registration and complete orders

    • Educate guests on the Ropes Course experience, proper technique, and use of equipment, and safety guidelines
      • \[/item]\[item]
    • Outfit participants with correct safety equipment, make adjustments, and properly attach sling line to harness and overhead track
      • \[/item]\[item]
    • Inspect all safety equipment to ensure proper function
      • \[/item]\[item]
    • Assess and assist in possible emergency situations and help scared participants
      • \[/item]\[item]
    • Ensure daily operation adheres to operating procedure guidelines
      • \[/item]\[item]
    • Provide outstanding customer service and engage in suggestive selling
      • \[/item]\[item]
    • Assist in merchandising functions, including display and store design, inventory receiving, stocking, and merchandise pricing
      • \[/item]\[item]
    • Perform cash-handling functions, including point-of-sale (POS) system, registers, and daily reporting
      • \[/item]\[item]
    • Ensure attraction adheres to highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service
      • \[/item]\[item]
    • Successfully complete ropes course and annual training covering operating procedures and technical competencies
      • \[/item]\[item]
    • Assist in other retail outlets/attractions as needed
      • \[/item]\[/ul]\[p]Basic Qualifications & Skills:\

      • Must be 18 years or older
        • \[/item]\[item]
      • Some High School education or equivalent
        • \[/item]\[item]
      • Comfortable being at heights of 30 feet or more for extended periods
        • \[/item]\[item]
      • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands
        • \[/item]\[item]
      • Experience utilizing basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
        • \[/item]\[item]
      • Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures
        • \[/item]\[item]
      • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
        • \[/item]\[/ul]\
