    WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN

    OVERVIEW

    The Warehouse Technician is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance to production and support equipment, including medication carts and fax machines. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Performs preventive maintenance activities on production and facility support equipment. Maintains all logs and required documentation. Maintains spare parts inventory.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Receive ordered medications daily and shelve as needed.
    • Create work orders for card production and postproduction information when complete.
    • Pull order requests for customers and scan the cards out to the end user for trackability.
    • Prepare orders for shipment by FedEx or Courier (boxes, not freight shipping)
    • Maintain all logs and required documentation
    • Maintain inventory of spare parts for production and support equipment
    • Assist production in the set-up and adjustment of production equipment
    • Assist in the creation of the daily medication order
    • Assist in the maintenance of the inventory tracking software.
    • Manage time and resources to complete all work orders in a timely fashion
    • Record correct and accurate information on each work order and/or maintenance equipment logs
    • Maintain, close, and submit current work orders each week
    • Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA, FDA, DEA, OSHA, KY BOP, etc.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice
    • Previous pharmacy experience required (one or more years of long-term care experience preferred)
    • Knowledge of brand name/generic medications
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Able to work at a moderate speed
    • Able to work during inclement weather
    • Reliable
    • Good organization/Attention to detail
    • Analytical/Problem solver
    • Able to physically perform light lifting
    • Must be able to work various shifts and days
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
    • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently

    HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY

    We provide qualifying full-time employees with 23 PTO (Paid Time Off) days annually. PTO is used for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal leave.

    Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
