    Job Title: Fitness Manager / General Manager

    Job Summary: As the Fitness Manager / General Manager at our boutique gym, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the gym's operations. This role requires a passion for fitness, exceptional leadership skills, and a solid understanding of business management in the fitness industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the gym operates efficiently, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving revenue and membership targets. Additionally, you will lead a team of fitness professionals, creating a positive and motivating environment for both staff and members.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Gym Operations Management:
      • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the gym operates smoothly and efficiently.
      • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility and equipment.
      • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
      • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
    2. Team Leadership and Development:
      • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of fitness professionals, ensuring they provide exceptional service to members.
      • Conduct regular staff meetings, provide performance feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
      • Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
    3. Sales and Membership Management:
      • Develop and implement strategies to drive membership growth and retention.
      • Monitor sales metrics, analyze trends, and adjust strategies to achieve revenue targets.
      • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and community outreach initiatives.
      • Conduct tours and consultations with prospective members, ensuring a high conversion rate.
    4. Customer Service Excellence:
      • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all members and guests.
      • Address and resolve member concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
      • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes member satisfaction and loyalty.
    5. Fitness Programming and Personal Training:
      • Oversee the development and implementation of fitness programs and classes.
      • Collaborate with fitness professionals to ensure a diverse and engaging class schedule.
      • Support personal training initiatives, including client acquisition and trainer development.
    6. Financial Management:
      • Develop and manage the gym's budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
      • Monitor and analyze financial performance, and implement strategies for cost control and revenue optimization.
      • Prepare regular financial reports for management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field (preferred).
    • Previous experience in a managerial role within the fitness industry.
    • Strong knowledge of fitness equipment, programs, and industry trends.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
    • Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficient in using fitness management software and Microsoft Office applications.

    As the Fitness Manager / General Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and results-driven environment for staff and members. Your leadership skills, business acumen, and passion for fitness will contribute to the continued success of our boutique gym.

    Salary: $60,000 - $90,000
