    Description

    The Golf Shop Assistant works inside the golf shop in the golf operations department, supporting members and guests in booking, checking in for tee times, and selling merchandise.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding and friendly customer service with positive interactions with members and guests.
  • Communicate clearly and positively with outside staff, coworkers, and guests.
  • Have professional phone responsibilities by answering many phone calls to provide facility information and reserve tee times.
  • Efficiently and accurately manages the tee sheet and retail sales.
  • Assist in cleanliness and presentation of retail merchandise.
  • Participate in the enrollment of tournaments and events.
  • Assist Outside Service Team.

    • Qualifications:

  • Must be able to communicate in the English language.
  • Priority Employment to candidates who can work all of June, July, August, and September.
  • Able to stand for over six hours.
  • Able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Able to operate golf carts.
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Driver's License or equivalent.
