Allow machining students to gain manufacturing experience while they are completing their final year of the machinist program, and also give Graco some machine unload and special project work support.

Simple setups and troubleshooting (only if supervised by a full-time Graco machinist)
Checking parts with hard gauging and CMM
Perform periodic quality checks as described in operation layouts
Package, wash, and deburr as described in operation layouts or otherwise directed by full-time Graco machinist, engineer, or supervisor
The intern will be responsible for the quality of the parts that he or she produces and follow all necessary inspection requirements
Work as a team member to aid all shifts and support co-workers to operate to department expectations.
Students must be enrolled in the Machine Tool Technology program
Shift is flexible & can be changed to accommodate current courses/schedule.
Student must be in good standing with the school if enrolled and maintaining a C average or better.

In terms of an 8-hour workday, "occasionally" means 1 to 33%, "frequently" means 34 to 66% or the time, and "continuous" means 67 to 100% of the time.

In an 8-hr workday, must be able to sit 1 hr, stand 3 hrs, and walk 4 hrs
