Reverse Engineer Software Developers
of all levels This job will require that you undergo and pass a security clearance investigation prior to work start.
We invite rising college seniors studying Computer Science or Engineering to apply
You will be supporting a project primarily consisting of three components, an IDA Pro Python plugin, a web interface, and a Java backend.
The software uses both MongoDB and Neo4j databases.We don't expect you to know our exact technology stack, but due to the wide range of tools used in this project, the ability to pick up new technologies quickly is important.
The project team is small, so you'll be working on the whole stack and implementing features from front to back.
Because of the small team and fast-paced environment, you should be an adaptable generalist who is willing to acquire new skills as necessary.
The development team is split between various locations, so effective communication skills are a must.Regardless of whether you are applying to a software developer or reverse engineer position, if your application is approved, we will test you on both skills as part of our hiring process.
At this time, the majority of our open positions require an aptitude in both domains.Requirements:
Must hold a Bachelor's degree
in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math or Physics
Ability to read and understand assembly code
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, strong work ethic
Strong object oriented programming skills
Proficiency in one of the following: C, C++, C#, Java, Python
At least 1 year of prior professional programming experience
Ability to quickly learn new skills, tools, and languages.
Experience with Java or Python
Experience with IDA or IDA Python scripting
Experience with any disassembler
Familiarity with Neo4j or other graph databases
Familiarity with NoSQL or MongoDB
Fluency in x86 and x64 assembly
Experience with reverse engineering

Education
Requirements:
Entry-Level:
Candidates must possess a relevant bachelor's degree, with some programming experience outside of the classroom.
No formal experience is required,
although it is preferred.
Mid-Level:
Candidates must possess a relevant bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 5 years' experience OR possess a relevant master's degree and have a minimum of 3 years' experience.
Senior-Level:
Candidates must possess a relevant bachelor's degree and have a minimum 10 years' experience OR possess a relevant master's degree and have a minimum of 8 years' experience.
As such, Cipher Tech will require, and your employment will be subject to, such vaccinations as are required by federal, state, and local law requirements.
