    Description
    Overview:
    • The Senior Business Analytics Consultant manages reporting, analytics, and research solutions portfolios across the business units within the analytics organization.
    • This role supports Clinical Operations by understanding the Clinical Ops business processes and workflow, and translating them into reporting requirements.
    • The Sr. Business Analytics Consultant works on requirements driving the Clinical Operations workflow and coding complex Clinical Operations reports. The Sr. Analytics Consultant understands how the workflow is implemented in Jiva, tracking and monitoring changes to understand impacts on regulatory reports.
    • Performs advanced data research, management, and analysis; prepares presentations to communicate results; and assists project leaders with the development of solutions/tools.
    • Serves as a subject matter expert in reporting/analytics, identifying issues, forming hypotheses, conducting interviews & analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations, and helping implement the solution.
    • Leads and manages small to mid-size projects with cross-functional teams, implementing, testing, and deploying approved reporting/analytics solutions to meet business needs.
    • Responsible for mentoring consultants and analysts, creating and managing work plans/timelines for various projects.
    • Provides input to senior leadership in identifying and forecasting future trends and technology needs in analytical solutions.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in a quantitative, business, or healthcare related subject. A Masters or a Ph.D. is highly preferred.
    • Six or more years of combined experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics and health services research.
    • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to efficiently work with and manage teams and resources.
    Ideal Candidate:
    • Extensive experience in SQL, SAS, and Payor side.
    • Clinical data experience.
    • Experience working with Medicaid/Medicare claims.
    • Develop complex metric reports.
    • Perform QA for regulatory reports.
    • Experience in driving business decisions and communicating with stakeholders.
    Responsibilities:
    Consultation and Communication:
    • Management competencies to collaborate, establish and sustain working relationships assisting in development, implementation, and management of reporting/analytics/research portfolio.
    • Oversee and support day-to-day consultation to business users and support management of cross-functional teams.
    • Manage reporting/analytics/research project portfolio aligning with specific core teams' goals.
    • Manage business stakeholders communications to identify needs and oversee creation of use cases and user stories.
    • Effective communication across the organization, strategic thinking to influence key stakeholders and business decisions.
    • Deliver effective presentations/communication to communicate strategy and outcomes to stakeholders.
