- Collaborates with Education to educate staff on new quality programs, regulatory standards, and performance improvement processes.
- Engages in interdisciplinary cooperation for hospital-wide patient safety, performance improvement, and data management functions.
- Leads accreditation readiness efforts and participates in surveys.
- Acts as a basic data analysis resource, preparing reports and facilitating committee meetings.
- Coordinates quality and patient safety committee activities for the hospital.
- Ensures all programs comply with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyzes and maintains data integrity, providing reports and feedback to support performance improvement.
- Reviews inpatient records to uphold quality indicators and identifies areas for enhancement.
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Nursing required
- Three years of experience in a hospital or outpatient clinical role
- One year of experience in quality management, patient safety, or similar roles
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 90 days OR
- RN-Temp - Registered Nurse - Temporary State Licensure within 90 days
- Demonstrates necessary skills to perform the job safely
- Effective communication and leadership qualities
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, performance improvement methodologies, and patient safety principles
- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently
