    We are seeking a Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement Engineer to plan, develop, document, and implement manufacturing systems and production processes that ensure the safe and reliable production of high-quality products.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop process maps, standard work, and work instructions for areas of responsibility, including development and documentation of routings.

    Develop and implement innovative solutions, tools, fixtures, workstations, and systems to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

    Assist with additive manufacturing responsibilities.

    Lead continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste and enhance manufacturing Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory. (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Brainstorming, Metrics Analysis, etc.)

    Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and alignment on continuous improvement initiatives.

    Respond to quality, product, and process issues within the value stream and provide solutions to root causes.

    Suggest improvement opportunities to streamline processes both on the manufacturing floor and office environments.

    Collect and analyze process data to support improvement efforts.

    Participate in the processes of product design to ensure that issues of manufacturability, testing and quality are an integral part of the fundamental product design.

    Maintain regularly updated reports for management review on the status of projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Good communication and organization skills.

    Experience Needed

    A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, or related).

    Minimum 5 years experience in a lean manufacturing environment.

    CAD skills (Inventor, Autocad, etc.)

    Formal training in problem solving skills (Lean or Six Sigma certification)

    Computer use skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.)

    SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, etc.) experience a plus.
