Job Overview
** Currently hiring a part-time driver to work alternating after hour weekday nights and weekends. Pay is commision based. **

Responsibilities
- Safely operate flatbed tow trucks to load, secure, and transport vehicles, including those with manual transmissions or specialized automotive features
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to towing to identify mechanical issues or damages
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other lifting devices when necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients during roadside assistance or recovery processes
- Manage conflict situations professionally, ensuring safety for all parties involved while resolving issues promptly
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and delivery details for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe operation of tow trucks in various environments
Experience
- Proven experience operating flatbed tow trucks or similar commercial vehicles with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, including familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive diagnostics tools
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair or mechanic work is highly desirable
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or Chauffeur's License (Class D) with a clean driving record; experience driving medium and light-duty vehicles preferred
- Skilled in conflict management, customer service, load & unload procedures, and safe vehicle handling techniques
- Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment for loading/unloading vehicles when required
- Prior experience working with tow trucks, flatbeds, or in roadside assistance roles will set you apart
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
