    LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a skilled insurance follow up/AR collector for our client in Chicago (downtown/Loop). This department is responsible for the ongoing AR collections of physician claims, using EPIC and payer portals.     Hiring method:
    Contract to Hire / Temp to PermHours: Monday Friday, 7AM-4PPMLocation: 100% onsite; hybrid schedule available once individual is converted to permanent employmentHourly pay rate: $20-24/hour DOEResponsibilities:Reviewing aging report of denied/unpaid claims (physician)


    Following up with 40+ accounts per day regarding claim status/denial codesTracking insurance claims through the billing processPerforming denials management, making claim edits/corrections and rebillingFiling appeals if neededReviewing EOB / COBs as needed and ensuring insurance / patient data is accurateRequirements:1-2 years or more of experience in medical AR/follow upExperience with Physician claims is requiredKnowledge and understanding of EOBs, timely filing guidelines, medical terminology, ICD & CPT codes, HIPAA, etc.

    Experience utilizing EMR, payer portals and clearinghousesEPIC experience strongly desiredPay Details:
