    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT certification and 2 years of acute care hospital experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in an acute care hospital radiology department as an MRI Technologist
    • Perform MRI scans and may assist with general radiology, angio/cath lab, and CT procedures
    • Typical schedule is 4x10 hour shifts with shifts on Saturday and Sunday and one variable shift during the week
    • Shifts are either 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM or 4:30 PM to 2:00 AM
    • Rotating on-call and variable weekend responsibilities
    • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing acceptance
    • Only one holiday request off will be approved
    • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
    • Previous staff or travelers must be gone for at least one year before returning as a traveler

    Requirements

    • Active CA state license required if applicable
    • Current ARRT (Radiography), ARMRIT, or CRT certification
    • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
    • Minimum of 2 years experience as a radiologic technologist with MRI experience in an acute care hospital
