Job summary
This position will conduct plan review to ensure compliance with fire and life safety regulations and standards as adopted by the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM). Responsibilities include facilitating coordination of individual plan review/approvals to a timely code complaint conclusion.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate coordinate track individual plan review/approvals to a timely code compliant conclusion serve as CSU Chancellor's Office representative collaboratively resolve issues relative fire panic safety code regulations tracking use OSFM CPDC project database software.
Qualifications
- Educational background California Licensed Architect Fire Protection Engineer related bachelor degree or other comparable experience in design compliance construction field relevant training examples Certification ICC Fire Plans Examiner Building Plans Examiner Fire Inspector California State Fire Marshal local public agency fire authority plans examiner.
