    Korsail Energy is a leading developer of solar and storage projects, based in Denver, Colorado. Our team of experts leverages unique skills to create a top-down, offtake-focused development company with the reach and funding to bring projects to fruition.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking an Interconnection Engineer to oversee the technical aspects of our solar and storage projects. This position is ideal for candidates with a utility or consulting background who have considerable experience managing the design and construction of energy projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the development of greenfield solar and storage projects from initial feasibility studies through preliminary design and interconnection to commercial operation.
    • Manage significant responsibilities in this role, including detailed design activities for renewable energy projects.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Electrical, Civil, or relevant engineering field from an ABET-accredited program.
    • 1-2 years of experience in utility-scale solar project development.
    • Experience with electrical collection system designs, electrical grid interconnections, and compliance with utility standards and electrical codes.
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong interpersonal/project planning leadership skills.
