+Job summary
Guides development of holistic solutions or strategic plans negotiates and executes contracts with the most complex market / region/national largest group/system or highest value/volume of spend providers with significant financial implications.
Manages contract performance and drives the development and implementation of value-based contract relationships in support of business strategies.
The position requires strong communication critical thinking problem resolution interpersonal skills as well as experience contracting with hospital systems large physician groups managing cost issues collaborating cross-functionally to execute cost saving initiatives representing company high visibility constituents including customers community groups promoting collaboration internal partners evaluating helps formulate implements provider network strategic plans achieve contracting targets manage medical costs effective provider contracting meet state contract product requirements collaborates internal assess effectiveness tactical plan managing costs optimize interaction assigned providers internal business partners facilitate relations ensure provider needs met ensures resolution escalated issues related claims payment contract interpretation parameters accuracy provider contract demographic information.
