    Description

    Skills Required

    The Senior Programmer will possess knowledge and experience in applications software development principles and methods sufficient to participate in the design, development, testing and implementation of new or modified applications software; operating systems installation and configuration procedures; organization's operational environment; software design principles, methods and approaches; principles, methods and procedures for designing, developing, optimizing and integrating new and/or reusable systems components; pertinent government regulations; infrastructure requirements, such as bandwidth and server sizing; database management principles and methodologies, including data structures, data modeling, data warehousing and transaction processing; functionality and operability of the current operating environment; systems engineering concepts and factors such as structured design, supportability, survivability, reliability, scalability and maintainability; optimization concepts and methods; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work; and speak and write effectively and prepare effective reports.

    Skills Preferred

    Have excellent technical skills, such as working with digital tools, software, and networking systems. They also need to have a working knowledge of security principles and safe practices.

    Be able to quickly identify and understand complex technical problems and then find creative solutions to them.

    Microsoft Dynamics 365 Knowledge: Familiarity with the Dynamics 365 platform, including its modules, customization options, and integration capabilities. Customization and Configuration: Ability to customize Dynamics 365 Customer Service to meet specific business requirements, including configuring entities, forms, views, and workflows.

    Power Platform Skills: Proficiency in Power Apps and Power Automate for building custom apps and automating business processes within Dynamics 365 Customer Service.

    Integration Expertise: Experience in integrating Dynamics 365 Customer Service with other systems and services, such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365, or third-party applications using APIs and connectors.

    Troubleshooting and Debugging: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues within Dynamics 365 Customer Service solutions, including debugging custom code and resolving configuration errors.

    Experience Required

    This classification must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.

    Experience Preferred

    -5 to 7 years of experience in software development projects. -Needs to be able to design Dynamics 365 Customer Service solutions. -5 to 7 years of experience designing and implementing Dynamics 365 (Dataverse) custom applications. -3 to 5 years' experience using Azure DevOps - 3 to 5 years' experience using Azure Cloud Platform. -Experience in merging multiple systems into a single, cohesive system. -5 to seven years' experience integrating Dynamics 365 Customer Service with other systems and services, such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365, or third-party applications using APIs and connectors. -5 to 7 years troubleshooting and debugging: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues within Dynamics 365 Customer Service solutions, including debugging custom code and resolving configuration errors.

    Education Required

    This classification requires the possession of a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
