Senior Earthwork EstimatorDenver, CO (Relocators Encouraged to Apply)
$140,000 – $180,000 Base Salary + $1,000/month Vehicle Allowance + ESOP Profit Sharing + Health, Dental, Vision + 401(k)
Are you a Heavy Civil Estimator with large-scale earthwork experience looking to join a nationally recognized contractor with one of the largest self-perform capabilities in the industry?
Do you want to be a key leader in an already robust Estimating team, leading complex Mass Grading and Utilities bids, whilst collaborating and working closely with leadership on pursuit strategy?
The Senior Earthwork Estimator is a critical addition to a close knit Estimating department within Ames Construction's Mountain Office, consisting of enormous experience within the Heavy Civil construction industry.
The position will see you reporting directly to the Chief Estimator and collaborating closely with the other senior members and leaders of the department to lead a variety of complex Mass Grading and Utilities projects throughout Colorado.
Candidate Background, Skills, and ExperienceMust have experience in Heavy Civil, Mining, Airport, or large commercial/residential earthwork projects
Must have strong Mass Grading experience
Wet Utilities (especially large diameter) experience desirable but not essential
Must have experience using AGTEK
HCSS Heavy Bid (or equivalent) experience required
Primavera P6 and/or Bid2Win experience desirable but not essential
Must be comfortable working in-office Monday–Friday starting at 7am
Team-first attitude with willingness to step in during critical deadlines

Base Salary:
$140,000 – $180,000
